Mathilda Tanner
is a graduate of UMass/Amherst,
majoring in painting. An artist for as long as memory permits, she has
worked in many mediums, including drawing, painting, multimedia collage,
and often spending summers working in Massachusetts, hand crafting original,
one of a kind pottery. Outside of the world of art, she enjoys many of
the same things we all do: partying, travel, literature, movies, cats
(obviously) and music...particularly of the reggie variety (not a typo...don’t
ask).
Mathilda is
currently a New York City public high school teacher, introducing a new
generation of kids to art and the concept of thinking for themselves.
